Overview

1230 – 1500 kW at 60Hz Diesel Genset
Our industrial diesel generators produce reliable power from 1230 to 1500 kW at 60 Hz. The 3512B diesel gensets are made to provide continuous power solutions for your business operation as well as supply standby and emergency power. Diesel engines are parallelable and meet prime applications. We’ve designed each to ISO 8528-5 transient response requirements and to accept 100% rated load in one step. Cat® generators are available in low fuel consumption and low emissions configurations.

Q. Can we burn HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil) in this generator to help achieve our Sustainability goals?
A. Yes, the 3512B can burn HVO to help reduce emissions.
Q. Does the Cat generator meet 10 second starting requirements?
A.Yes, with the appropriate configuration our generators are capable of 10 second starting to meet emergency needs or customer requirements.
Q.Does this generator comply with ISO 8528 guidelines?
A.Yes, the 3512B, like all of our generators, is tested in accordance with the load steps outlined in with ISO 8528, Part 5.
Q.Is this generator noisy?
A.We offer a number of options for sound attenuation including silencers and sound attenuated enclosures for many of our generators to reduce the dB(A) levels.
Q.Where can I obtain replacement parts for a Cat generator?
A.Replacement spares are available from Cat dealers in over 200 countries worldwide.
