March 25, 2020 – COVID-19 Update
Riggs Cat will remain open during normal business hours at all locations. As an essential business (designated by the federal government), we will continue to support our customers through sales, rental, parts and service while being sensitive to the health and safety of everyone involved.
What does this mean? This means the products and services we provide are essential to the health and well-being of our state. This also means in the event of any mandated lockdown or quarantines, Riggs Cat will remain open and continue operations.
The safety of our employees and customers is ALWAYS our #1 priority! Please rest assured as we continue to operate; we will be taking every precaution possible to create a safe environment for everyone we come in contact with.
Cleanliness and Hygiene
Additional measures have been taken to clean and disinfect our facilities, our employees are practicing the hygiene outlined by the CDC and we are practicing new ways of doing business, such as curbside pickup, delivery and more.

As your trusted partner, it’s important that you know that safety is our number one concern as we continue with our business continuity plan in place. Our management team meets daily to ensure we are taking the necessary steps to keep everyone safe and healthy.

What We Are Doing to Protect our Customers and Employees
- Sanitation and cleaning levels have been increased at all facilities.
- Employees are using best practices to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses/illnesses.
- We are monitoring employee travel as well as limiting meetings and public events.
- Procedures are in place for some employees to work remotely, and we have instructed all with fever and/or cough symptoms to stay home and get well.

- Wash your hands regularly and avoid touching your face.
- Avoid shaking hands and other close contact when unnecessary.
